Our founder, Tony Chahine, was caring for his father from afar as he battled dementia and heart disease. The pain of distance sparked a powerful idea: what if textiles could keep us truly connected to the people we love?
In 2017, Nanoleq, a spin-off from ETH Zurich founded by Vincent Martinez, Serge Weydert, Flurin Stauffer, and Luca Hirt, set out to pioneer textile-based biosensing technologies. In October 2024, Nanoleq joined forces with Myant, becoming Myant Europe — combining Swiss precision with Canadian innovation to deliver SKIIN to the world.
